Sunderland Advocacy for Empowerment (SAFE) is looking for a team of media student volunteers to shoot an informative guide to their services with an approximate target length of 5 - 8 minutes.
The purpose of the DVD is to convey how SAFE can improve the lives of adults with learning disabilities through advocacy. Key words for the DVD are therefore empowerment, choice, dignity and social inclusion.
Volunteers will work with SAFE to create a storyboard, then, shoot and edit the material into the required length. Volunteers must cast an appropriate voice-over and target the DVD to a national audience, although recording will happen in the Sunderland area. A SAFE contact person will be available throughout the project for advice, support and guidance.
