What is Business Bridge?
Business Bridge is an externally funded brokerage service, which aims to provide a dual service to both students/graduates and North East businesses.
Business Bridge provides businesses with cost effective highly skilled pre-graduate and graduate staff. Students/graduates will benefit from relevant, paid work experience to help expand career opportunities before and after they graduate.
Business Bridge is a non-profit organisation, we do not take any cut of the students/graduates money and a business simply pays the student/graduate as a normal member of staff (for more information see What it Costs).
Skills..
This allows you to gain valuable, work related skills in areas that are relevant to your chosen career and/or experience to date. You will also have the opportunity to enhance your personal skills i.e. team-working and communication skills, which will be of benefit when seeking future employment.
Money..
Business Bridge projects are PAID - the company must pay at least the national minimum wage - although many students/graduates are paid much more than this for the work that they complete. It is your responsibility to negotiate a fair wage for the job you are doing.
