Project: Development and Validation of Financial Package

Brewlab ltd is a specialist company based at the university of sunderland providing training and services to the brewing industry. training courses are run on site to new and established brewers and give support for both general instruction and specific support for industry qualifications. Analyses are conducted for rountine quality assurance and for investigative and research purposes. The company takes students from the uk and overseas and is developing distance learning support to extend its work into new markets.

 Organisational need:

 This position will develop and validate a financial package for the company to integrate with its customer database and invoicing system. Advice will be required on suitable systems and on how these will fit to the different needs of the company staff and products. The work may be conducted full time or part time but has a target of completion by December 2008.

Salary negotiable, standard temporary, part time benefits available. Start date asap, duration 3-6 months, up to 20 hours per week.

Selected candidates will be asked to make a presentation of their work to illustrate competence and to attend an interview to show suitability.

Skills and experience required:

Appropriate experience of financial programmes and computer systems. Ability to work in a small team, reliability, good communication skills, ability to work on own initiatives and to clearly present information. Trustworthy and responsible with company data.
