It is important that your academic studies remain your top priority. We aim to offer projects that can be carried out at convenient times to you - around your studies. You should negotiate your working times with the company - as a guideline we recommend that you work no more than 16 hours per week, although during vacation times you may be able to work on a full time basis.
There is no set duration for projects - each one will be different dependent upon the complexity of the project and the amount of time you are able to devote to it. Some projects have been completed in a matter of hours while others have lasted for many months.
Projects on Offer
Opportunities have come from a wide range of companies in the local area and have included projects relating to web site design, market research, brochure design, compilation of reports, CAD drawings etc.
We will attempt to find projects that are in some way related to your programme of study and/or chosen career option - this will give you an insight into the world of work outside of university.
